    Amani Family Services’ Victim Care Program provides culturally competent advocacy and therapeutic supports to immigrants and refugees who are victims of crime. Amani assists those enrolled in services in navigating both the civil and criminal justice system, as well as community resources. The bilingual Victim Care Program offers personalized services and certified interpreters to help ensure that the voices of victims are heard.

    The Center for Nonviolence offers English- and Spanish-speaking support groups for survivors. They provide advocacy services for people of all genders, sexual orientations, and cultures through referrals for legal matters, mental health, and other resources that a survivor may need. The Center also provides safety planning and can accompany survivors to court hearings.

    Domestic violence is the use of abuse—physical, sexual, emotional, spiritual, economic, or psychological—to gain control over a partner in a relationship. Anyone can be a victim of domestic violence, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic status. Allen County is outpacing state and national levels for domestic violence, with very high recidivism rates.

This process confidentially documents the incident, and you can choose to file the incident as a Jane Doe. This means the report is not placed using your real name. Collecting evidence within first five days ensures you can take action later if you choose to do so. Forensic exams are covered by the State of Indiana.

    Matthew 25 Health and Care offers healthcare services at no cost to adults who are uninsured and live at/below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Patients can access primary medical care and a full dental care center, and can be seen on-site by a specialist such as a gynecologist, mental health counselor, cardiologist, dermatologist, and more. Prescription medication is provided at no cost for patients.
